If you have multiple businesses then you are welcome to create more than one listing.
However if you only have one business it is recommended that you stick to a single listing. This helps the listing gain as much SEO power as it can without being interrupted by other similar listings.
Can I edit my listing once it's been published?
Yes! Simply login to your account and navigate to your listing to edit the details.
Once you are on your listing page you will see an edit button either on the right hand side if you’re on a desktop, or underneath your listing if you’re on a mobile phone.
Clicking the edit button will allow you to cahnge any of the details.
My business is already listed but I don't have access to the account, how do I edit the details?
If you business is already listed on For Perth Lovers and you don’t have access to edit it, this means your business listing hasn’t yet been claimed.
To claim your listing, navigate to the listing and click the button that says ‘Claim Your Listing’ and follow the prompts.

Sometimes we add businesses to For Perth Lovers if we think our audience will benefit from being able to contact you, or your business has been recommended to us by one of our audience members.

How do I get more people to see my listing?
Our business listings have been design by a Sydney-based, award winning SEO agency. The reason we did this was so that all businesses who list with For Perth Lovers have the best chance possible of being found in online search results, allowing more people to find their business.
However, there is only so much we can do to help your listing being found, and so here are some guidelines on what you can do to deliver the best results possible from your listing:
- Make sure all fields of your listing are filled out with as much detail as you can provide
- In the ‘business description’ area provide at least 2-3 paragraphs of content about what your business offers. The more information you can provide here, the better chance you will have of ranking your listing and getting more people to find here. We specifically haven’t put a word limit on this section so that you can use it to it’s full potential. Here is what we recommend for best results:
– The more content the better, ideally at least 600 words.
– Unique content that hasn’t been copied from anywhere else, not even your own website.
– High quality content which is helpful to your audience.
– Address the following questions: what do you do, how can you help people, who can you help, why should people choose you?
– Use subheading to break up your content and make it easier for people to read.
Does my listing have a time limit?
There is no time limit on Free listings.
Claimed Business Listings will remain live for as long as you choose. If you decide to cancel your subscription then your listing will terminate or be reverted to a Free listing.
How do I cancel my listing?
If you have a Claimed Business Listing, you can cancel your listing by logging into your account, navigating to My Subscriptions, and follow the prompts.
